A Few Things We Have Been Up To...

Josh and I went to the Oregon Coast for our Honeymoon.  It was a BLAST!
We ate some crazy but delicious seafood and had tons of fun!
We would definately recommend it to anyone!

A few of our favorite places to stop were:
-The Portland Temple
-The sea lion caves
-Tillamook Cheese Factory

Next time we go back we will hopefully go farther south and see the gigantic redwoods!

One night, my sister Abi and my brothers Mitch and Jack came to our apartment to spend the night.
We had to convince Jack that the movie "Hook" wasn't as scary as he thought but as soon as we started it, he loved it and didn't want to turn it off when it was time to go to bed.

The last couple of weeks that we were at the apartment, we had lots and lots of picnics outside!  The weather was beautiful and outside is much much better than inside:]

Our fourth of July was tons of fun!
I made red, white, and blue pancakes for breakfast and popcorn to take to the parade and fireworks!
It was good to have a day to step back and be thankful for our beautiful country.
We can't wait for the next 4th!

The Very Beginning...

You know how we are all encouraged to go to institute?
Well this is a story why that's so important!

It all started in May of 2010 Josh and I met at institute and at first, we were both way too scared to talk to eachother.  Good thing we finally did!  Our first date was October 4th, 2010 (yes, women remember everything...) Josh made dinner for us then we went on a Jeep ride and watched a movie.  I was so impressed by his cooking skills! Thanks Melissa! ;]
So we continued dating and hanging out after institute until December 18th, 2010...

BAM! We were engaged!

We set the date for May 14th.

We were married on May 14th, 2011 in the Idaho Falls Temple.
I am so lucky that I get to spend forever with my best friend!

4th of July 2011.  Yes, the Jeep is our first child :]

So, for now, we are both working in jobs we love, married to the person we love.
We are both students at Idaho State University- Josh is studying Engineering and I'm studying Dental Hygiene.  We love being married!

I'm so thankful to have him and I can't imagine what life would be like if we weren't married.  He is  my best friend and I wouldn't trade him for the world!
